-Percussion ensembles meet on stage.
-Big Band tomorrow.
-Playoff game tomorrow night. Usual schedule.

Hey Band, Band, Band, Band....what day ist it?????

-We can still take fundraiser orders (pies/cinnamon rolls) today.
-CB sectionals today: Work on Spanish March.
-Playoff game this Friday night. Usual schedule. 5:30 run thru.
-Drumline will be performing 11:30-1:00 at the new Roti Mediteranean restaurant on Meachem (by the new Potbelly). Free entrees for everyone who shows up.
-Auditions: Bruns, Pawlikowski, Wagner, Jorgensen...get it done.

-Thank you to the WS/SB for playing the send-off this morning.
-SB sectionals today. Jubilant.
-Auditions: Bruns, Jorgensen, Parks, Pawlikowski, Wagner...you will receive an Incomplete for a quarter grade. Get this done.
-Pie fundraiser: Due yesterday.
-Playoff game on Friday. Usual schedule. Fix your conflicts yesterday!
-Pay your IOUs....be a good credit risk.
-Music dept. will be closed after school today. No hanging today.

-Nice job on Friday night. The weather didn't seem to be an issue. Thank you Class of 2014 for four seasons of hard work.
-Lab Band: After school today.
-The Floridian Jazz Project: 7:30 tonight.
-WS sectionals: Shaker Dance.
-Playoffs: We are at home. The game will be Friday night at 7:00, so our usual schedule. Solve conflicts TODAY!
-Pie Fundraiser is due today.
-Auditions should be finished today. If you haven't been heard, make an appointment ASAP.
-MVPs for Friday: Erin Falsey, Felicity Muldoon, Jonah Kaufmann, Becca Kassner, Ellie O'Connell.
-Send-off tomorrow: WS/SB leave class at 8:10 am tomorrow.

-BIG BAND TODAY...dress for the weather.
-Cadet sectionals today: Woodwinds 1st half. Brass 2nd half. Work on Intrada.
-Horns go home for the weekend. Practice concert music. Long tones.

-"The Spring Valley Concert Band has a concert this Sunday at the Prairie Center for the
Arts. Admission is Free. Pieces on the concert include Chorale and Shaker Dance
and Holst’s Second Suite.
-Perez, Wagner: pick up uniform jackets from the music office.
-Manna orders are in: pick up at the end of the period.
-Cadet sectionals tomorrow. Woodwinds 1st half/Brass 2nd half.
-Drumline: Put Nov. 2 gig in your calendar. 11:30-1:00

-WARNING... we are under construction today. You may not enter the band room after 5th period. If you need anything from the band room for later, take it out b4 5th and place it in the library.
-The dept. is closed to hall-sitters today. You'll need to do your sitting someplace else.
-Today is the last day you can turn in your extra credit forms for private teachers.
-Concert Band sectionals today. Use the entire period. You can eat lunch at home. Practice Celtic.
-Orchestra winds/percussion: Good work last night. Outside of some intonation issues, your sound was very good.
-You need marching horns today.
-Drumline: Mark your calendar. We have a gig on Nov. 2. 11:30-1:00 at Roti Medit restaurant near Woodfield.

-Seniors: Forms for Friday's game were due yesterday in the ADs office.
-Blackwell, Pakan, Shope, Stelzer: Pick up your Queen shirts.

-Congrats to all of the bandos who were in the Variety Show this weekend. It was a fun, fast paced program. Next year's show will look quite different.
-Congrats to Asleigh Ginter: She was the 1st to sell 50 items, so she wins $100. Fon't forget today is the "First Day" contest...sell 5 items and get a phone case.
-QUEEN shirts have been de;livered.
-Auditions should finish up this week.
-Wind Symphony sectionals today. WWs 1st half. Brass 2nd half.
-Lab Band 3:00 today.
-Florida jazz ensemble 7:30 tonight.
-Orchestra concert tomorrow night. 7:00 pm. Good stuff for semester review.
-Seniors: Get your senior night forms into the ADs office today.

-Jazz Ensemble: Call time tonight is 6:45. Dress is dark shirt/dark pants/tie.
