-STOMP: Run thru after school today. Be ready by 4:00. You miss today...you're fired!
-No sectionals this week.
-Percussion: Put hand held stuff IN the cabinet when done...not ON it!

-NO BIG BAND TODAY.
-No sectionals this week due to seating auditions.
-Variety Show tickets are on sale outside the cafeteria. It runs this weekend Fri. & Sat.; 7:00 pm. $5.00. Good fodder for semester reviews. Lots of Bandos in this show.
-Outback News: No refunds can be made at this point in time. We are committed. Room lists and bus lists should start during lunch periods today.
-Getzen Trombone Day: Sat., Oct. 19 @ Fix This! in Palatine. 10:00-3:00. Bring a mouthpiece and go try all their newest horns
-Orchestra today 3rd.
-TubaChristmas: Informational meeting Oct 22 @ 3:00 in the band room. See Felicity for more information.
-V-Showrun thru today after school.
-Jazz Ensemble: Do a full rehearsal in the band room after school today before you do the run. You can leave once you've played on stage.
-ESO Concert: Prairie Center for the Arts. Friday. All John Williams concerts. Tim McAllistar (alto sax) is guest soloist.

-What a busy weekend!!!!
-First, great show on Friday. Every time we perform it, it gets better.
-Mattress sale...we sold 36...we didn't hit our goal but still made money and had some fun. Thank you to the "street people".
-Columbus Day Parade. Excellent performance. Our focus on fundamentals is paying off big time. Yesterday's band was a much different band than the one that played at Septemberfest.
-No drumline/front ensemble tonight.
-Jazz Lab Band: Today at 3:00.
-Variety Show: Run Act 2 after school. Florida Jazz Band & STOMP. Jazzers run a sectional afterwards.

-Thanks to the System Red drumline for their two performances this weekend; Saturday night at the Schaumburg Business Association's annual benefit banquet and the JDRF Walk in Busse Woods on Sunday morning.
-INDOOR SMB CONCERT Tonight: Call time is 6:30 pm. Concert starts at 7:00 pm. Admission is a non-perishable food item.
