-CB Sectionals: Work on Tallis.
-Pit orchestra: 3:30 today.

-Night of Percussion concert: Next Tues. May 6th. 7:00 FREE. Always an interesting evening of music.
-Beauty and the Beast: Tickets are still available for Thurs. AND Friday. SEE THIS SHOW!!! It's excellent.

Congrats to the jazzers on last night's performances at the Trickster Gallery. It was very successful...over 500 food items were donated. Thank you for your time and talent. It was a fun night! Thanks to Wade for organizing the event.
-SB sectionals: Summer Dances.
-Pit orchestra: We start at 3:30 today.
-Percussion: How is Talkin' Trash going? Still memorized?
-Beauty and the Beast: Tickets on sale. Last 2 shows are Thurs. & Fri. SEE THIS SHOW!

-Beauty and the Beast...excellent run last weekend. Two shows left, Thursday and Friday nights....SEE THIS SHOW!!!
-Pit orchestra: No rehearsal today. We meet again tomorrow at 3:00ish.
-Jazz Up The Shelves Benefit tonight. 7:00 at the Trickster Gallery (Roselle Rd., where the Farmer's Market is). Donation is 2 canned goods + $2. All proceeds go to the Schaumburg Food Pantry.
-Jazzers: Be at Trickster tonight at 6:30 to set up (maybe run My Funny Valentine). Dress is fest wear. YOU NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN FOLDER. Also...bring 2 food items.
-fREE TICKETS: Chicago Philharmonic. May 11th. 7:30. Pick-Staiger Hall on Northwestern University campus. See me.
-Clarinets: Chicago Clarinet Ensemble featuring John Bruce Yeh. May 2; 7:30. Northeastern Ill University. $10.
-Trumpets: FREE Master Class with Peter Bond (from the New York Met Opera) at Cary-Grove HS. May 3; 1:00. See me for info. 
-WS Sectionals today: The Adams.

-Department is closed today during the lunch periods due to the musical run-through.

-No Cadet Band sectionals today.
-Jazz Up the Shelves: Next Monday, the jazz bands will be performing a benefit concert for the Schaumburg Food Pantry at the Trickster Gallery (near the library). Concert starts at 7pm. Admission is $2 and 2 non-perishable food items. See Wade Behrens for more information.
-Beauty and the Beast opens Saturday. Shows at noon and 7pm. Tickets are $8 for students and $10 for adults. Great semester review opportunity. Go and support your fellow Saxons.
-Percussion: Master class will be at 7pm on May 12th. Review Talking Trash.
-All horns go home for the weekend.

-Senior bios: The book is almost done. You need to get your stuff in to Muldoon today.
-Percussion: Have Talkin' Trash ready to play. Dress rehearsal for N of P is May 5th. Mastr Class is May 12.

-SB: Guest conductor today. Work on Fortress.
-Pit orch.: Run starts at 4:00 today. Be in pit at 3:50 fpr notes.
-Lab Band: 3:00 sectionals.
-Percussion: Mark your calendar. Dress rehearsal for Night of Percussion is May 5th. 7:00-9:00.
-Percussion: How's your part to Talkin' Trash sounding?
-Brass: U of I is holding a weekend camp this summer that will have the Canadian Brass as Artist-in-Residence. Interested? See me.
-Percussion (Lober): Indiana U. is hosting a percussion summer camp that will have the IU faculty teaching.
-Summer Music Camps: Looking to go? The boosters do have scholarships available. See me.

-WS: Recording session with Tim Corpus for WFMT
-Pit orchestra: 3:00 today AND tomorrow in the pit.
-Senior bios: We need real picture, not e-mails. About half the class won't be in the book. Get these in ASAP. Interns are working on the book as you read this.
-HORNS GO HOME FOR THE VERY LOOOOONNNGGGGG weekend. Yes, Mr. Wong this includes you. Get your horn to the shop this weekend. Tech classes start next week.

-CONGRATULATIONS: Wind Symphony & Symphonic Band for your excellent performances in the Chicagoland Invitational Concert Band Festival. This is a very prestigious festival to be invited to. It was an honor to play there. Thanks you!
-Congratulations to Sean Honesty. Your new Drum Major for 2014-15.
-No Lab Band after school today.
-Pit Orchestra 3:00 today.
-Jazz Ensemble: 7:30 tonight.
-Senior bios should be in. Interns are starting the book today.

-Jazzers: Great show last night. It was really a fun night. Wasn't Tim Coffman "killer"? Congrats! Thank you for all of your hard work.
-Jazz 'N Joe set-up crew AND wait staff...THANK YOU!!!! You created the atmosphere for the event. It was very cool.
-Hersey Gig: Bus rolls 11:30. Be on it. We load at 11:15 tomorrow.
-Lost & found: a black trumpet mute. A harmon mute stem.
-HORNS GO HOME FOR THE WEEKEND. Long tones.
