-Drumline/Tubas: Get instruments cleaned and packed today for the parade. You can use the stage.
-Clarinet sectionals today. Stars & Stripes is memorized.
-BIG BAND TODAY
-Shoes/Uniforms: Go home.
-Uniform fees/contracts/yellow cards: Done TODAY!!!
-Bus rolls on Monday @ 9:00 am. Truck loads @ 8:30 am.
-Horns need to be polished for Monday's performance.
-Chicago Jazz Festival this weekend.

-Flute sectionals today. Stars & Stripes memorized. Clarinets tomorrow.
-Cymbals: Meet afterschool today.
-Shoes & Uniforms: Take 'em home.
-Unpaid uniforms: Why isn't this getting done??? We have a show on Monday!!!
-Yellow cards: There are 61 of you that cannot ride a D211 bus on Monday. They need to be in by tomorrow.
-Chicago Jazz Fest opens today. Go downtown and check it out. FREE.

"Hey Band...what day is it?...BIG BAND DAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!
-The duck has been drawn (drum roll please)...if you have the black duck that says "Rock Out", you win $20.
-Show shirt designs are up on the hall bulletin board. Put a dot with the Sharpie on the one you like.
-SHOES...GET THEM HOME!!!!
-Septemberfest Parade: Bus rolls at 9:00 am. Truck loads at 8:30 am.
-Is your yellow card in? Can't ride the bus without it.
-Chicago Jazz Festival opens tomorrow. Millennium Park. The largest FREE jazz fest in the world. Good stuff for semester

-Sectionals: Trumpets today. Work on Stars and Stripes Forever. Saxes tomorrow.
-Elgin Symphony Orchestra is offering student discounts again this year. Check flyer on music office bulletin board for details.
-Chicago Jazz Festival opens Thursday at Millennium Park. This is the largest FREE jazz festival in the
world. Go online for more info.
-Drumline/Front ensemble: Rehearsal tomorrow night @ 7:00.

-Fundraiser: 1st day prize. Sell 4 items? Come in and grab a duck.
-MANNA fundraiser due today.
-We play today.
-BIG BAND TOMORROW.
-Check out the new display case for our IMEA All-State students. It's in the Auditorium foyer, next to the band quilt.

Nice press on the band in the D211 Post yesterday:
"Schaumburg High School had its band lined up at the main entrance of the school while students entered the building. The band played energetic songs, such as Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody and the Schaumburg High School Fight Song, while teachers and administrators greeted students."

First day of school.......YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!
-Thank you for the annual SMB 1st-day-of-school performance. It's such a unique tradition at SHS. It's a great Act-Of-Kindness for your peers.
-MANNA is due tomorrow.
-Drumline/Front ensemble: Rehearsals will be on Tuesday nights. 7:00-9:00.
