Last announcements of 2015-2016! Have a great summer! Take advantage of your time off. Play your instrument at least 4 days per week. Start or continue taking private lessons (especially while you have the gift of time over the summer - all of our private teachers are available to teach at SHS over the summer). Take on a new challenge. Practice ILMEA and jazz audition music. See live music. Learn and memorize your music for marching band. The Alternative Rock show should be memorized by the beginning of band camp.
Graduation Band: thank you all for giving your time yesterday for the Class of 2016. Bravo on a great performance.
2016-2017 SMB Leadership: reminder that we would like as many of you as possible here tonight for our Freshman Information Night. Your call time is 6:50 - you will be done by 7:10. Also, please make sure to fill out contact info on the Google Doc Mr. Graffeo sent out on Friday. SMB Leadership Workshop will be next Wednesday 1-4pm.
Potbelly's Dine-In Night: we have one final band dine-in night Tuesday 5-8pm at Potbelly's on Meacham (near Woodfield). 25% of ALL sales will go back to the band. No flyer necessary. We hope to see you there!
Spring Valley Concert Band: is looking for trumpets (and other instruments) for their summer concerts and beyond. Check out svcb.net for more information or see Mr. Inendino.
Student Board: we will have our last meeting Thursday @ 1pm - Portillo's on Barrington Road.
Summer Band Activities: Sectionals will begin Monday, July 11th. Band camp will be August 1-5 (9am-6pm M-W, 1pm-6pm Th-F). Summer letters will be distributed in class on Tuesday.
