Chicago Northshore Music College Fair: tonight 7-9pm at Northwestern University's Ryan Center for the Musical Arts. Any juniors and seniors thinking about majoring in music in college - check this out.
Tomorrow's Game: call time is 4:30 for percussion/5:45 for all others. Seniors - make sure your parents know they need to be in the south end zone at 6:15. Following the game, all of our seniors will have an opportunity to make a quick speech to the band. Please make sure parents know that this will be a longer night.

One of our band alums is the CSO's Digital Marketing Coordinator, and she is able to get FREE student tickets on the main floor to the CSO Concert tonight, October 6th at Symphony Center. Program includes Prokofiev's Cinderella and the world premiere of a trombone concerto by Carl Vine. If interested, call 312-294-3000 and say you are with the Schaumburg High School Band. Students tickets are free - parents/family can go also but will pay regular price.
Sectionals: Flutes today. Work on GOOD FUNDAMENTALS (tone, intonation) and audition materials! Please use the full half-period. Make sure to fill out an attendance form.
