Thank You: to everyone who played on the front steps this morning! This is a great SHS tradition.
Uniforms: many of you have uniforms on the rack in the hallway. If you have paid for your uniform, these need to go home ASAP. We do not have enough space in the department to hold them. If you haven't paid yet, you need to ASAP.
Lost and Found: if you lost anything during band camp, check the pile on the piano. This will all go in the school lost and found after school Friday.
College Band Day: we will be going to NIU on September 12th. If your family would like to come, we have reduced price tickets available through the band. Order forms are due next Wednesday, September 2nd.
Schaumburg Youth Orchestra: has openings for flute, oboe, horn, trumpet, and trombone. This is an incredible community orchestra organization in our backyard. Auditions are coming up on Tuesday, September 8th. For audition information, check out the board outside the music office.
WS: if you are auditioning for ILMEA, I would highly recommend checking out one of the upcoming audition clinics at Elmhurst College (September 20) or Vandercook College of Music (September 17 or 23). Pre-registration is required. Check out the board outside the music office for more information.
