Some Neat Concert Review Opportunities This Week: On Thursday at 8pm, the DePaul Wind Symphony and NIU Wind Ensemble perform concerts on their respective campuses. On Friday at 7:30pm, the Chicago Jazz Philharmonic (jazz with FRENCH HORNS, including SHS alum Jessica Pearce) performs their 10th anniversary concert at the Auditorium Theatre. On Saturday at 3pm, the DePaul Percussion Ensembles (directed by Michael Kozakis) perform a FREE concert at DePaul's Concert Hall. On Saturday at 7pm and 9:30pm, trumpet virtuoso Arturo Sandoval will be perform at SPACE in Evanston. On Saturday (7:30pm) and Sunday (2:30pm), the Elgin Symphony Orchestra (including Mrs. Carlson on violin) presents a concert of America's Musical Treasures at Hemmens Concert Hall in Elgin.
