Congratulations to all who participated in IHSA Solo and Ensemble Festival this past weekend! SHS sent 93 events, 68 of which received Division I "Superior" ratings. That is outstanding! Akira Di Sandro (piano), Patrick Ward (trombone), and Melissa Wickland (soprano) were named "Best of Day" in their rooms, and the following events received perfect scores: Caitlin Wilkes' flute solo, Patrick Ward's trombone solo, Jaimes/Ward trombone duet, Hansen/Honesty euphonium duet, and Ward/Jaimes/Hansen/Behrens trombone quartet. Congrats to all on reaching the end of this journey.
Jazzers: Lab Band 3-5, Sextet 5-6, Quintet 6-7 on Monday. Ensemble will only have sectionals this week.
St. Baldrick's Assembly: the Pep Band will be playing at this Thursday's St. Baldrick's assembly. More info to come.
Sectionals: WS/SB/Cadet/CB this week. If there is not a director at your sectional, make sure to fill out a sectional attendance form.
Millie Pit Orchestra: rehearsals Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
Concerts This Week: SHS Choir Concert this Tuesday @ 7pm. SHS Orchestra Concert this Thursday @ 7pm.
