Welcome Back! Hope everyone had a great Spring Break! We have a busy end of the semester coming up, especially over the next few weeks. Run through the tape!
Auditions: begin. Sign up for outside of class times on the white board. Make sure to sign up with the correct director. Remember that private lesson evaluation forms are due next Tuesday, April 5th.
Jazzers: all rehearsals on Tuesday - Lab Band 3-5, Sextet 5-6, Quintet 6-7, Ensemble 7-9.
WS/SB: We received our performance times for the Chicagoland Invitational Concert Band Festival (Saturday, April 16 at Hersey). WS performs at 2pm and SB at 4:45pm. Based on those times, we will tentatively leave SHS around noon and return around 6:30pm. Make sure this is marked on your personal and family calendars. Detailed itineraries coming this week.
WS: Our 5th annual Concerto Competition will take place after school Friday. All are encouraged to audition. Further information is on Schoology. See a director if you have questions.
Seniors: The Band Booster College Scholarship Application is available on the booster page (www.schaumburgband.com/boosters). Applications are due Monday, April 11th.
Sectionals: none this week.
Millie Pit Orchestra: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday this week.
Postcards: drop off your postcards in the music office door for our Spring Break bulletin board.
