It's Concert Week! Band-Aid Concerts this Wednesday (Cadet/CB) and Thursday (SB/WS). Concerts begin at 7pm - call time is 6:30pm. Tickets are $5.
Congratulations to the following SHS Bandos on their selection to the 2016 D211 Honor Band! Leilah Petit, Caitlin Wilkes, Yumi Otsu, Daniel Burke, Homer Homa, Edwin Suresh, Rachel Worazek, Radek Czech, Liesel Haffner, Jemi Kim, Sydney Rowley, Myriam Brito, George Dimeas, Abigail Fledderman, Aaron Fradin, Becca Kasner, Ben Zaley, Tyler Brossard, Akira Di Sandro, Leah Routson, Patrick Ward, Wade Behrens, Amanda Hansen, Sean Honesty, Mikey Mayer, Thomas Young. Rehearsal is 8am-2pm on Friday, May 20 and the morning of Saturday, May 21. Concert is at 2:00pm on Saturday, all at SHS. If you have any conflicts with these times, please let me know prior to Spring Break. Our guest conductor is Professor Dan Farris from Northwestern University.
Jazzers: Lab Band 3-5, Ensemble 7-9 on Monday. Sextet 4-5 and Quintet 5-6 Wednesday.
WS/SB: We received our performance times for the Chicagoland Invitational Concert Band Festival (Saturday, April 16 at Hersey). WS performs at 2pm and SB at 4:45pm. Based on those times, we will tentatively leave SHS around noon and return around 6:30pm. Make sure this is marked on your personal and family calendars.
Sectionals: none this week.
Millie Pit Orchestra: Tuesday this week.

Audition Materials: are all out on the sorting rack. Auditions will begin when we return from Spring Break. Private lesson evaluation forms are also available and due by Tuesday, April 5.
