Jazzers: North Shore Jazz Fest Saturday (call time is 8:45am). Rehearsals this week - Lab Band Tuesday 3-5pm, Quintet Thursday 9:10am, Sextet Thursday 2pm.
Pep Band: next gig is the Pep Band Concert next Wednesday, January 27th (call time is 6:30pm).
IHSA Solo and Ensemble: is coming up on Saturday, March 5th. Registration is due Tuesday, January 19th (see link on Schoology). Any band student may sign up to take a solo and/or ensemble. Start looking for music (check JW Pepper, ask a music librarian to look in the library, or ask your private teacher). All WS/SB members must take at least one event.
Sectionals: none this week.
Finals: the department is open for practice or study for music department members only. If you would like to help in the library during a band period, sign up on the white board. There may be treats involved.
